Day 2 - Vatican City

Greetings from Vatican City! We are standing outside of Saint Peter's Basillica, where the Apostle Peter is buried.

A panoramic view including the dome of St. Peter's Basillica at night.

From the Vatican Museum - the long hall, with the beautiful ceiling.

A famous statue! (Jack remembers it from his Art History Class...)

The famous painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, by Michaelangelo.

The best part about Italy is chillin' at a Ristorante and passin' the time drinking coffee. Or just posing with it, as the case was here.

Soooooo Italian, right?

Jack and Miki in front of one of the various side streets. The colors! Molto Bene!

In front of the famous bridge that is next to the famous castle. I suck with names.

Finally! Dinner again! Tonight was "Pizza Night". Min is excited.

This is what you get when you order a pizza with olives, artichokes, ham, and egg. 4 olives with pits, half an egg, 1 artichoke, and 1 slice of ham.

Tonight was "Bianca Notte" or "White Night". All the museums in Rome are free and open until midnight.
There are so many people out walking, our taxi drive home takes twice as long!!

Stay tuned for Day 3 - Random Rome Sightseeing!
