Day 8 - Hello Kitty!
Today was relatively uneventful - we wandered around Venice for an hour or two in the morning, then took the train towards Milan.
The highlight of our morning walk: This insane art gallery.
I think it's rare that a piece of art makes you stop dead in your tracks and stare. This one did just that. I seriously didn't want to leave.
We had a very long dinner (it was 8 for a drink, and you get a free buffet!), then wandered around and got some gelato and found the "Hello Kitty and Friends" store.
This picture was taken at like 11PM - It seems it's never too late for HELLO KITTY MERCHANDISE!!
Here's a sample of what you can find in this pink pink pink pink store. The Hello Kitty Toaster that burns a picture of Hello Kitty on your toast was my favorite.
I needed a new toaster anyway.

Apparently, I was the only one feeling the long day. I drifted in and out of sleep while the rest of the peeps cackled and laughed into the wee hours.

Tomorrow at 11AM marks the start of the Darkmoon Faire for me!
There were a lot of guys in the hotel lounge tonight practicing and playing - I hope it'll be a good turnout!
