Day 4 - Firenze! (Florence)

Min's Boss's Friend's Condo is actually gigantic and "soooo cuuute" (according to Min and Miki).

More of the condo... this place is so nice that we actually don't want to see the rest of Firenze. Gah! But we must!

Every meal I've had today has been accompanied with Bruchetta. And whatta Bruchetta!

The cars here are on the whole much smaller than the US. Take this car for example, with 3 wheels. Most people actually drive Vespas. We did see one Hummer, though.

We hiked up the 463 steps to the top of the duomo which had an amazing view of Firenze!
The hike up was rather cramped, though... and these tiny passageways were both entrance and exit for some sections.

Here are Jack and Miki in front of that beautiful view I was talking about... Hey wait a second... MIN! Get out of the way!!!

Min got in the way in this shot too! Dang it!

Great Italian food seems to be some kind of theme here. This was Miki's lunch today, and Min had some spaghetti delicioso!!
Jack and I had Calzones that were bigger than my biceps! (Yes that means they were HUGE!!!)

This was a sculpture garden in Piazza Della Signoria that had a perfect ledge to sit on and take pictures. Cheeeese!
For those photographers, I had to set up an off-camera bounce-flash to fill in the foreground, since it was in shadow and the background was so light.
For the non-photographers... IT'S PURTY AIN'T IT??

One of the beautiful statues from the Piazza. This is actually where the original Statue of David was, before they moved him to a gallery we'll see later.

On the way back home, we were treated with this beautiful view of Basillica di Santa Croce, which is less than a block from the condo.

Florence is already amazing, and we're looking forward to a short side trip to Pisa tomorrow!

Stay Tuned for: Day 5 - Pisa!
